“Moreover, the claim that the universe "creates itself out of nothing" is a nest of contradictions: to create oneself, one must precede oneself into existence, which is impossible. Worse still, to pull oneself out of nothing, one must both exist before existing, and not exist before existing, in which case one would not be pulling oneself out of nothing, but out of oneself!
