SummarySummary

Whenever you oppose a materialist with a fact - such as an unexplained Near-Death Experience - he will retort that this fact will be explainable in a reductionist, materialist way in the future. What's more, he won't propose any experiment that he thinks might invalidate his materialistic faith. He is thus locked into a dogmatic way of thinking that is structured to prevent any rational or experimental refutation. Far from being reasonable, the materialist often defends his faith like a dogmatic believer.
