From 1964 to 2015, the James Randi Educational Foundation invited people claiming to possess paranormal powers to submit to a rigorous scientific test to validate the existence of said powers in the event that they did in fact exist, providing them with a reward of one million dollars. Thousands of people took the test, but none passed.
